SAFETY SIMULATOR OF HAND-HELD ROTARY TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety simulator which enables a subject to physically experience the impact of a so-called kickback phenomenon which may occur during the use of a hand-held rotary tool.

SOLUTION: The safety simulator of a hand-held rotary tool includes: a tool body 14 having at least a handle part of a hand-held rotary tool; a rotary blade corresponding part 16 which is provided on the front end side of the handle part; a load sensor 18 which senses physical displacement of the rotary blade corresponding part 16 at the time of contact with a simulated work 100 of the rotary blade corresponding part 16; an actuator 19 which moves the tool body 14 in a direction opposite to a rotary blade rotation direction of a rotary tool which the handle part simulates; and a control unit 30 which obtains a displacement signal outputted from the load sensor 18 to output an operation signal for operating the actuator 19.
