<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a cover bi-directionally from a temporary assembly position to an assembly position and to assemble it to a holding member. <P>SOLUTION: In a door mirror device 10 for vehicle, a hook portion 56 for permanent assembly engages with a bottom wall 44 of an engaged claw portion 42 in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle at an assembly position, and a hook portion 64 for temporary assembly of a visor cover 22 (lower cover 26) is arranged with a deviation on one side in a first intersection direction (one side in a second intersection direction) relative to a hook portion 56 for permanent assembly. Accordingly, when the visor cover 22 (lower cover 26) is assembled to a visor body 16, by moving the visor cover 22 (lower cover 26) to the rear of the vehicle after moving a visor cover 22 (lower cover 26) to the one side in the first intersection direction (one side in the second intersection direction) between the temporary assembly position and assembly position, the hook portion 56 for permanent assembly and the bottom wall 44 of the engaged claw portion 42 engage with each other.
