<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary actuator which is light-weight and is less likely to be damaged. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary actuator 19 includes a metal bracket 75 for attaching a resin housing 20 to a case 16 of an automatic transmission. The bracket 75 is integrally formed with a cover part 76 and an attachment part 78. The cover part 76 is positioned at the opposite side of the case 16 relative to the housing 20 and protects the housing 20 so as to prevent foreign objects from the exterior from impacting on the housing 20. The attachment part 78 of the bracket 75 allows the cover part 76 and the case 16 to couple to each other. This structure prevents foreign objects flying to the rotary actuator 19 from impacting on the housing 20 using the cover part 76 of the bracket 75 and inhibits the housing from being damaged by an impact of a foreign object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
