<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus in which execution of recovery printing by manual double sided printing can be expected even if a memory capacity is small. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 100 restart a print operation of pages following an aborted subject page after canceling an error when the error is detected during the print operation of former printing pages and the print operation is aborted while executing manual double-sided printing. That is, the aborted subject page is passed and the following pages are printed.
