<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably find a swell of a casting agent even when it is very small. <P>SOLUTION: A coating agent evaluation method S100 includes a watering step S101 of watering a surface of a coating agent applied to a mold, a heating step S102 of heating the watered coating agent at a predetermined temperature rising speed, and a visual confirmation step S103 of visually confirming whether the coating agent having been heated swells.
