摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump control device for a fuel supply system to control the pressure feeding period of a fuel supply pump in its pressure feed stroke using a flow control valve, in which a control command value to the flow control valve is learnt complying with the characteristics of the feedback amount relative to the engine speed, and the pressure in a common rail is allowed to make following-up after the target pressure value properly. <P>SOLUTION: Error in the pressure feed amount is generated according to two error elements; i.e. the angle error resulting from fluctuation in the rotational phase of a cam driving the fuel supply pump with respect to a crankshaft, and the time error originating from a variation in the closing response delay of the flow control valve to control the pressure feeding period. The angle error remains constant irrespective of the engine speed, while the time error varies according to the engine speed. The integral term in the feedback control shown by a symbol 200 represents the angle error and the time error, and the pump control device determines the primary expression of the integral term from the two points representing the engine speeds NE1 and 2 and the corresponding values of integral terms 1 and 2, segregates the obtained primary expression into the angle error and time error, and learns the current feed start timing of the flow control valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
