<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance precision when performing alignment and combining between a plurality of color filter array images, while eliminating the need to create a demosaic image when performing image combining processing. <P>SOLUTION: A displacement calculation section 106 uses one of a plurality of CFA images obtained by imaging an identical object as a base image and other image as a reference image, and calculates an amount of displacement of the reference image with respect to the base image. On the basis of the amount of displacement calculated by the displacement calculation section 106, a combining processing section 108 creates a combined CFA image by performing combining processing of the base image and the reference image on the basis of a pixel value of a base image pixel and a pixel value of a reference image pixel which are the pixels at pixel positions corresponding to each other. At this time, when the color of the pixels corresponding to each other differs between the base image pixel and the reference image pixel, a pixel value of a color identical to the color of the base image pixel is created from the reference image by interpolation processing, and the combining processing is performed on the basis of the pixel value created by the interpolation processing and the pixel value of the base image pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
