PURPOSE: A sealing structure, a light emitting device, an electronic device, and a lighting device are provided to prevent the delamination of substrates due to concentration load generated at the edge of the sealing structure. CONSTITUTION: A glass layer(105a) is formed on a rectangular substrate(101). The width(W1) of the edge of the glass layer is greater than the width(W2) of the side. The radius(R1) of the outer boundary of the glass layer is smaller than the radius(R2) of the inner boundary. A sealing space(102) is formed between the substrate and the glass layer(105b). The width(W4) the side of the glass layer is same as the width(W3) of the edge. The radius(R3) of the outer boundary of the glass layer is greater than the radius(R4) of the inner boundary.
