<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that enables switching elements to exert a sufficient discharge capacity even when gate voltage thresholds of the switching elements vary. <P>SOLUTION: The power conversion device which has a series circuit 11 comprising a series connection of a high side switching element Q1 and a low side switching element Q2 and in which the switching elements Q1, Q2 are turned on concurrently on both sides to discharge a capacitor 12 connected to the series circuit 11 includes a control section for measuring such a gate voltage as causes a predetermined value of current to flow through the switching elements Q1, Q2, and when discharging the capacitor 12, controlling a gate voltage of the switching element Q1 to the measured gate voltage measurement value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
