<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing power consumption of the image forming apparatus without impairing operability. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a reception unit 101 that receives any one of display instructions on a plurality of display screens displayed by a single application; a display processing unit 103 that displays an object display screen representing a display screen in which a display instruction has been received on a display unit; a determination unit that determines a power supply state indicating on/off of power supply to a device that can be operated during display of the object display screen every time the object display screen is displayed; and a power supply control unit 106 that controls on/off of power supply to the device on the basis of the determined power supply state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
