The method involves emitting an electromagnetic beam (9) e.g. optical or radio electric beam, from a platform (1), where the electromagnetic beam is directed toward a space zone crossed by a projectile (3) and incorporates a confirmation or inhibition signal to confirm or inhibit an operation of a fuse (8) of the projectile and a coding signal associated with the confirmation signal. The confirmation signal is associated with the projectile by the coding signal.
