<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lyric telop display method which improves rendering and design with novel means of expression without using changes in font and form of characters. <P>SOLUTION: Lyric telop control means of the karaoke device generates: a pre-change composite character image that is an image shape of characters, which are represented by lyric data to be displayed, clipped out of a pre-change material image used for displaying characters of the lyric telop before pattern change; and a post-change composite character image that is an image shape of the characters, which are represented by the lyric data to be displayed, clipped out of a post-change material image used for displaying the characters of the lyric telop after pattern change. The pre-change composite character image is displayed in a lyric display area at a predetermined display timing in accordance with the progression of musical performance, and the pre-change composite character image being displayed is switched, after displayed, to the display of the corresponding post-change composite character image at a predetermined pattern change timing in order. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
