<p>The invention relates to a process for the purification of waste water infested with noxious metal ions in toxic ratios. According to the invention, the process consists in treating the polluted water with medicinal plants wastes resulting from the extraction processes, dried until reaching a moisture content of 6...7%, as powder or minced up to 5...15 mm, at a waste water : plant waste ratio of 30:1, while stirring for 5 min, leaving them to rest for 90 min and subjecting them to phase separation by filtration, thereby resulting in a liquid phase from which toxic metals are removed in a ratio of more than 90%.</p> |
