<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which binary image data can be generated again using appropriate binarization processing when a size of image data generated by executing compression processing is determined to be larger than a threshold. <P>SOLUTION: The control apparatus comprises: binarization processing means; compression processing means; size determination means; and supplying means. The compression processing means executes compression processing to binary image data to generate compressed image data. The size determination means determines whether or not a size of the compressed image data is larger than a threshold. The binarization processing means executes binarization processing to original image data using first type binarization processing method to generate first type binary image data. In the case where a size of image data of the first type compressed image data generated by compressing the first type binary image data is determined to be larger than the threshold, second type binarization processing method different from the first type binarization processing method is used to generate second type binary image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
