<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling method of a carriage unit, in which an inkjet head can be accurately aligned. <P>SOLUTION: The assembling method of the carriage unit 1 including a head unit 2 on which the inkjet head 20 is mounted to a plate-like head plate 21 and a unit holder 3a on which the head unit 2 is mounted, includes: a plate fixing step of fixing the head plate 21 to the unit holder 3a; and a head fixing step of aligning and fixing the plurality of inkjet heads 20 with and to the head plate 21 after the plate fixing step.
