<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic actuator having a new structure, in which a control unit can be disposed near a coil while increase in the number of components or weight can be suppressed, and to provide an active vibration damper using the actuator. <P>SOLUTION: An electromagnetic actuator 11 includes a stator 12 with a coil 20 and a mover 14 that is allowed to be relatively displaced with respect to the stator 12, and is configured to vibrate and displace the mover 14 by energizing the coil 20. The actuator includes a base member 18 that supports the coil 20 and constitutes the stator 12. A mounting member 32 of the base member 18 includes a stopper 42 that regulates a displacement amount of the mover 14 by contacting with the mover, and also the mounting member 32 includes a mounting piece 44 to be fixed to a target member for vibration control. The base member 18 includes an accommodation space 96; and a control unit 82 for controlling energizing of the coil 20 is accommodated in the accommodation space 96. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
