<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deterioration in sensitivity of a touch sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a liquid crystal panel including a touch sensor having a touch sensor function; an upper polarizer disposed on an upper surface of the liquid crystal panel including the touch sensor; and a lower polarizer disposed on a lower surface of the liquid crystal panel including the touch sensor. By disposing a retardation plate having a function of compensating a viewing angle between the liquid crystal panel including the touch sensor and the lower polarizer, the deterioration in sensitivity of the touch sensor can be prevented.
