PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compounds useful as ion channel inhibitors, pharmaceutically acceptable compositions including the compounds, and methods of using the compositions in treatment of various disorders.

SOLUTION: The compounds useful as ion channel inhibitors are provided. The pharmaceutically acceptable compositions including the compounds and methods of using the compositions in the treatment of various disorders are also provided. In one embodiment, a compound represented by formula I is provided, and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is also provided.
