GAMMA CORRECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: A gamma correction system and a gamma correction method for a display device are provided to improve the productivity of the display device by reducing unit process time when the deviation or distribution of brightness is corrected. CONSTITUTION: A brightness measuring unit(10) measures brightness by obtaining light from a display panel. A reference brightness setting unit(21) sets reference brightness. A brightness compensation unit(22) obtains a gamma data result value by optically compensating a sample gray. A gamma value converting unit(23) converts the gamma data result value into a corresponding data voltage and produces the data voltage about the remaining brightness.
