<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption when notifying a control station of event information in a radio communication system applicable to a radio sensor using a TDMA system. <P>SOLUTION: On the occurrence of an event, a subordinate station operates to first notify the control station with a connectionless system completed with one slot. When the completion cannot be confirmed, the subordinate station switches to a connection system to perform message communication after establishing both-way data links, so that the event information can be notified with minimal power if a communication environment is satisfactory.
