<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation for attaching and detaching a tape supplier in a tape feeder. <P>SOLUTION: A sprocket drive mechanism part 45 is constituted by assembling a sprocket, a motor 44 driving the sprocket via a spur gear train 43 and the like with an elevation lever 30. The sprocket drive mechanism part 45 is constituted to move upward and downward between a meshing position, at which teeth of the sprocket are meshed with sprocket holes of a component supply tape 12, and a retreating position, at which the teeth of the sprocket are positioned below the sprocket holes of the component supply tape 12. A tape feeder comprises: a spring 55 for energizing the sprocket drive mechanism part 45 upward and holding the sprocket at the meshing position; and a motor 56 for moving the sprocket drive mechanism part 45 downward against the spring 55 when the component supply tape 12 is attached to and detached from the tape feeder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
