<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable more suitably correspond to driver's preferences. <P>SOLUTION: The system controls an engine 22 and motors MG1, MG2 through demand torque Tr* obtained by applying accelerator opening Acc in response to accelerator-torque corresponding relation taken as corresponding relation between accelerator opening Acc and demand torque Tr*. The accelerator-torque corresponding relation can be changed through the operation of a display device 90 (a button 93 and touch panel 94).
