SEMI-SUBMERSIBLE DRILLING RIG

PURPOSE: A semi-submersible drilling rig is provided to reduce the size and weight of a funnel and exhaust gas pipes and to increase stability by lowering the vertical center of gravity of the semi-submersible drilling rig. CONSTITUTION: A semi-submersible drilling rig comprises a first engine room(11), a second engine room(12), a first pipe passage(13), a second pipe passage(14), and multiple exhaust gas pipes(15). The first and second engine rooms are formed under an upper deck. Engines are installed inside the first and second engine rooms. The first pipe passage is horizontally formed between the first engine room and one end of the lower part of the upper deck. The second pipe passage is horizontally formed between the second engine room and the other end of the lower part of the upper deck. The exhaust gas pipes are installed between the first and second pipe passages.
