INTERCOM SYSTEM, INTERCOM SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD, AND INTERCOM SYSTEM CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system capable of relaying an outside line telephone call to a specific member while minimizing a period of keeping the caller of the call waiting.

SOLUTION: An intercom system 100 comprises a main controller 1 and plural slave units (communication terminals) 3a to 3e. When an outside line telephone call is answered by one of the slave units, the main controller 1 connects the path between an outside line terminal 200 and the communication terminal having answered. When receiving a relay command, the main controller 1 executes holding processing on the outside line terminal 200. When receiving an answer command from another slave unit answering a call from the communication terminal having answered the outside line telephone call, the main controller 1 releases the holding processing on the outside line terminal 200 and connects the path between the outside line terminal 200 and another slave unit mentioned.
