<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte for a lithium air battery, and a lithium air battery including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a lithium air battery that includes a negative electrode capable of absorbing and desorbing lithium ions, a lithium ion-conducting solid electrolyte membrane, and a positive electrode using oxygen as a positive electrode active material, and further includes an electrolyte disposed between the positive electrode and the lithium ion-conducting solid electrolyte membrane and containing a lithium ion-conducting polymer and a lithium salt.
