<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a bromopyridine derivative which is useful as a building block in the respective fields of medicines, pesticides, and organic electronic materials. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of producing a bromopyridine derivative, a hydroxy pyridine derivative represented by general formula (1) is reacted with a reaction reagent prepared from phosphorus, phosphorus oxychloride, and bromine. In the formula (1): R are the same or different mutually and each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a nitro group, a carboxyl group, a cyano group, an alkylamino group, a substituted/unsubstituted 1-5C alkyl group, a 1-5C alkoxyl or alkyloxy carbonyl group; n is an integer of 0-4; m is an integer of 1-5; and n+m=5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
