PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for a light source unit capable of avoiding falling-off of the light source unit and work load increase at exchanging of the light source unit.

SOLUTION: The attachment 110 for a light source unit includes a socket side mounting base section 111 detachably mounted on a socket 130, a socket side mounting body section 112 detachably mounted on the socket side mounting base section 111, and a light source unit holding section 113 detachably fixed on the socket side mounting body section 112 and holding the light source unit 120.
