<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To migrate database by minimum necessary times of copying processing when the database is migrated from an old center device to a new center device. <P>SOLUTION: The data management system comprises a plurality of terminal devices, and a center device that stores and manages data transmitted from the plurality of terminal devices connected thereto via a network, in database for every terminal device. When a migration-destination center device having a same function as that of the center device is disposed and the management of the database is migrated, the migration-destination center device batchedly copies the data of the terminal device stored in the database of a migration-origin center device, in the database of the migration-destination center device at a timing when first receiving the data from the terminal device in the migration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
