<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attendance management system for simply performing attendance management by using an on-vehicle unit and a portable information terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A smart phone 5 transmits leaving data to a taxi meter 3 when a leaving button 22e is depressed after executing a check before leaving such as login processing, a start-up inspection. The taxi meter 3 starts service when the leaving data is received. When business such as an empty vehicle, an occupied vehicle, payment is performed, business data is transmitted from the taxi meter 3 to the smart phone 5. The taxi mater 3 transits to a warehousing state, and transmits warehousing data to the smart phone 5 when a warehousing button 12a is depressed by a crew. The smart phone 5 displays a list of labor situations and a list of business data on a screen when the warehousing data is received.
