摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control luminance of an electro-optical element without the need of a data signal with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An electro-optical device includes: pixel circuits 110 provided corresponding to intersections between a plurality of scan lines 12 and a plurality of data lines 14; storage capacitors 44 of which one ends are connected to the plurality of data lines 14; storage capacitors 50 individually holding each potential of the data lines 14; transistors 45 which are turned ON/OFF among the data lines 14 and a power feeding line 61 for power feeding an initial potential; and transistors 46 which are turned ON/OFF among other ends of the storage capacitors 44 and a power feeding line 62 for power feeding a predetermined potential. The transistors 45 and 46 have conductivity types different from each other. Each pixel circuit 110 includes: a circuit for holding each potential of the data lines 14 in response to each scan signal supplied to the scan lines 12; and an electro-optical element having luminance in response to the potential held. After the transistors 45 and 46 are switched from ON to OFF, a data signal of a potential in response to gradation is supplied to each other end of the storage capacitors 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
