<p>An ultrasound probe disclosed in the present application comprises: an oscillator array further comprising a plurality of oscillators which are arrayed in a first direction and which carry out a respective conversion between electrical pulses and ultrasound waves; an acoustic lens provided with a convex surface in a transmission direction of the ultrasound waves in a cross-section which is parallel to the first direction and the transmission direction, said acoustic lens collecting the ultrasound waves which are transmitted from the plurality of oscillators; and at least two acoustic adjustment layers which are configured of a material with a different speed of sound than the acoustic lens, and are respectively positioned between at least two of the plurality of oscillators which are arrayed in the first direction and the acoustic lens, in which the material and/or the thickness in the transmission direction of the at least two acoustic adjustment layers differs between the at least two acoustic adjustment layers.</p> |
