COMPOSITION FOR LINING AND LINING METHOD

A composition and a method for polyethylene lining are provided in which PE, which is basically excellent in terms of water-blocking properties and chemical stability, is used as the base and the erosion resistance of the PE has been improved. The composition for lining comprises linear low-density polyethylene and a thermoplastic elastomer of a pseudo-crosslinking type which is made up of a hard block comprising polystyrene and an elastomer block having a polyolefin structure. The elastomer blocks undergo pseudo-crosslinking at a temperature not higher than the glass transition temperature Tg of the hard blocks, with the hard blocks serving as pseudo-crosslinking sites, and the thermoplastic elastomer shows flowability at temperatures higher than the Tg.
