The arrangement has a guide unit i.e. shell (34), for guiding fresh air from an air intake duct prior to an air inlet opening (26) of a fresh air intake pipe. The guide unit comprises a partition (34a), which is designed to guide the fresh air toward the inlet opening of the pipe. A protection face (44) extends transversely and vertically, and is interposed between a lock (32) and a front end of a vehicle to prevent access to the lock from outside the vehicle. An annular seal (52) cooperates with a lower face of a cap of the vehicle and an upper face of the guide unit.
