Disclosed herein is a method for facilitating gift giving. A personalized page based on a first set of inputs received from a first user is created. A preselected gift selected by a gift recipient is displayed or described the personalized page, which may be viewed on a device. Then, a gift giver is invited to contribute. A monetary amount is divided into a first portion and a second portion based on a second input from a second user or gift giver. The first portion of the monetary amount is assigned to the preselected gift and the second portion of the monetary amount is assigned for a monetary donation to charity. No specific money amounts are prominently displayed on the personalized page.
