<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cable flexure regulation in an optical fiber cable, without increasing a wiring man-hour or a manufacturing man-hour, while securing a degree of freedom of wiring. <P>SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable 1 includes: a core 11, a cladding 12 and a coating 13. The optical fiber cable 1 has a rugged surface 130 including a recess 131 and a protrusion 132 alternately arranged in a longer direction formed at least on a surface in one direction of an outer peripheral surface of the coating 13 and a surface on an opposite side thereof. For instance, the rugged surface 130 includes a spiral series of recesses 131 and a spiral series of protrusions 132 parallel to the series of recesses 131 on the outer peripheral surface of the coating 13 across an entire circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
