IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE AND ACTIVATION CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device and an activation control program capable of quickly starting job processing after activation.

SOLUTION: An image processing device executing HDD initialization processing for checking a file system of an HDD after power is turned on comprises: the HDD which can store data; and an image processing part which performs analysis processing and drawing processing of a job received from outside and outputs image data after the drawing processing to a print processing part. The image processing part performs the steps of: performing first initialization processing which activates a task to perform the analysis processing and the drawing processing after power of the image processing device is turned on; receiving a job without waiting for completion of the HDD initialization processing when the first initialization processing is completed; and performing processing of the job regardless of whether or not the HDD initialization processing is completed if the received job does not use the HDD.
