PURPOSE: A quarter glass molding method is provided to simplify a quarter glass molding process by omitting a cutting work to remove a first protection film coated on the surface of a banding unit of a metal plate exterior material. CONSTITUTION: A first protection film is coated on the surface of a metal plate(S1). A metal plate exterior material is manufactured with a press molding process so that the coated metal plate comprises a bending portion inserted into a molding material and a flat portion(S2). The first protection film coated on the surface of the metal plate exterior material is removed(S3). A second protection film is attached to the flat portion(S4). The metal plate exterior material and a quarter glass are put into a mold for an insert injection process with resins of the molding material(S5).
