PURPOSE: A location searching method and a location searching system are provided to enable a fast location searching by using an A-GPS method and a Wi-Fi method, enabling an effective indoor and outdoor location measuring and reducing costs. CONSTITUTION: A location searching system comprises an artificial satellite base station(400), a server(300), a wireless tag(100), an AP(200), and a client(600). The artificial satellite base station communicates with an artificial satellite(500) and provides the artificial satellite location information generated based on the location of the artificial satellite for a server. The server receives and stores the location information of the artificial satellite and transmits the stored artificial satellite location information to a wireless tag if there is a request from the wireless tag. The wireless tag calculates the location by using an A-GPS(120) module or a Wi-Fi module(130). The wireless tag is able to determine whether the location is based on the sensed number of the artificial satellite. [Reference numerals] (AA) Interior; (BB) Exterior
