<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power monitoring system capable of monitoring electric energy for each branch electric circuit in a house. <P>SOLUTION: This electric power monitoring system has an integrated managing panel 1 comprising a master breaker Bs, a plurality of branch breakers Bmn disposed in branch electric circuits Lpmn that branch from the secondary side of the master breaker Bs and supply electric power to an electrical apparatus Xmn, a branch current detection section CTmn for measuring, for each branch breaker Bmn, the branch current supplied via each branch breaker Bmn, an arithmetic section 2b for calculating the electric energy for each branch breaker Bmn based on each branch current measured by the branch current detection section CTmn, and a control section 2c that creates electric energy information indicating the electric energy for each branch breaker Bmn and transmits the electric energy information via a network in the house using a general-purpose communication protocol.
