PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a spool of a solenoid valve for an automatic transmission is provided to improve the accuracy of hydraulic performance and to prevent the fault of hydraulic conduct of the solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a spool of a solenoid valve for an automatic transmission is as follows. A column-shape material is cut at a predetermined length(S10). The outer circumference of the cut material is ground to form a land part(S20). The surface of the ground material is polished(S30). The surface of the polished material is anodized and coated(S40). The edge of the land part of the material is ground to remove burrs and then the surface is smoothed(S50).
