PURPOSE: A streetlight turn-on system is provided to save power consumption and to automatically control power required for turn-on of a streetlight. CONSTITUTION: A car entry detection box(110) includes a first detection sensor(111), a first read-out unit(113) and a first transmission unit(115). The first detection sensor is installed in the transverse direction and generates current by pressurizing a car(C) driving on a road(R). The first read-out unit receives the current generated in the first detection sensor and reads out driving of cars and the number of cars. The first transmission unit transmits the data provided from the first read-out unit to the outside using wired/wireless communication networks. A data processing distribution panel(120) consists of a reception unit(121), a data processing unit(123) and a power control unit(125). The reception unit is installed in an entrance path of the streetlight installation section and receives data transmitted from a car entry detection box. The data processing unit determines the number of cards entering the streetlight installation section through the received information. The power control unit controls power applied to the streetlight based on the data.
