A semi-automatic drug injector capable of automatically controlling an injection velocity by dual sensing of pressure and a drug injection method using the same according to the present invention are characterized in that the manual operation of a syringe used to inject various drugs into the body in the medicine field is replaced by the semi-automatic operation of an actuator which is interlocked with the pressing operation of a user in real time so as to be operated, thereby enabling stable and smooth injection of a drug into the body, and the back pressure generated by the resistance of biological tissue against the injection of a drug is simultaneously sensed in real time with the pressing pressure of an operation button by the user so as to allow the injection velocity of a drug to be controlled while being interlocked with the pushing pressure and the back pressure. To this end, the present invention comprises: a casing having an open end into which a fluid container containing a fluid is inserted; an actuator provided inside the casing; a driving body connected to the actuator to move linearly, in which a linearly-movable front end thereof is located inside the fluid container so as to allow the fluid inside of the fluid container to be injected; an operation button protruded on the surface of the casing; a first pressure sensor connected to the operation button so as to sense the pressing pressure; a second pressure sensor connected to the rear end of the driving body so as to sense the back pressure applied to the driving body; and a controller for receiving the pressing pressure and the back pressure from the first pressure sensor and the second pressure sensor, and controlling the operation of the actuator according to the inputted pressing pressure and back pressure.
