<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To functionally reinforce a forceps body which basically functions as grasping forceps, in a cauterization treatment with a high frequency current especially in a dissection treatment, and to enhance safety of the treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The forceps body 110 provided at a fore distal end of a flexible cord 11 forms a saw-toothed concave-convex portion 20a on its inner face, consists of a pair of upper and lower forceps pieces 120U and 120L which are mutually openable/closable, and opens/closes by an operation wire 33 passing through the flexible cord 11. The inner face with the saw-toothed concave-convex portions 120Ua and 120La of the both forceps pieces 120U and 120L is equal to or smaller than a half of the diameter of the flexible cord 11, and larger than one-sixth of the diameter of the flexible cord 11. Further, the width continuously becomes larger from the inner face to the opposite face, that is, to the outer face 120Ub and 120Lb, and the side faces of forceps pieces 120U and 120L form tapered inclined planes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
