<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification device of a component of an internal combustion engine, the device which is compact, can supply power without exchanging a battery and is enabled in long-distance communication. <P>SOLUTION: A component monitor 30 is constituted of a wireless tag unit 35 and a receiving terminal device 45. The wireless tag unit 35 is embedded in the component (piston, piston head or the like) of a diesel engine 10. A vibration power generation element 38 is embedded in the wireless tag unit 35. When vibration is generated by the drive of the engine 10, the vibration power generation element 38 generates power, and the wireless tag unit 35 is started by receiving the power. The wireless tag unit 35 transmits component inherent information in a memory 39 by radio communication by putting it on a relatively-strong electric wave generated by power which is generated by itself. When the receiving terminal device 45 catches the electric wave from the wireless tag unit 35, the receiving terminal device acquires the component inherent information included therein and accumulates and stores it in a data storage part 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
