An elastic tensioning clamp made of spring steel for rail fixation comprises a central loop (44) having two inner legs (46) connected by an arc-shaped central portion (48) as well as nooses (42) connected to the inner legs (46) of the central loop (44) and running towards the free ends (50) of the tensioning clamp (40). The nooses (42) are formed so as to have, in the unloaded state, a maximum height (H) of at least 20 mm above the upper plane (E) of the central loop (44) in the region of the two inner legs (46). |
