PURPOSE: An inert gas purge device and a continuous casting method using the same are provided to prevent contact between an inner wall of a tundish and air even though the inner wall of the tundish submerged in molten steel when replacing a ladle. CONSTITUTION: An inert gas purge device comprises a gas spraying unit(100), a gas feeding pipe(200), and a gas feeding unit(300). The gas spraying unit is led into the inside of a tundish(10) through a cover(20). The spraying unit sprays inert gas from at least one of a horizontal direction and an upper side for the surface of molten steel(1) above the molten steel. The gas supplying pipe is connected to the gas spraying unit. The gas supplying unit is connected to the gas supplying pipe and supplies the insert gas. |
