PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an alumina mold is provided to manufacture an alumina mold with high purity and high density by compressing and plasticizing alumina powder with high purity without using a separate organic binder. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an alumina mold comprises the following steps: (a) a step of preparing alumina powder with more than 99.995% of purity; (b) a step of mixing ultra-pure water with the alumina powder; (c) a step of forming a first molding product by molding and compressing the alumina powder mixed with the ultra-pure water; and (d) a step of plasticizing the first molding product. The ultra-pure water is included at 0.01-15 wt% compared to the high purity alumina powder. The alpha crystal size of the high purity alumina powder is 0.1-3 Mm. In step (c), the molding pressure is 5-15 kN. Step (c) is performed with a cold isostatic press(CIP) molding method. Step (d) is performed at 1300-1900 deg.C for 2-24 hours.
