<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealer that is suitable for use in inorganic building materials such as a ceramic building material, can be suitably used as, for example, the sealer for inorganic building material when forming a coated film with the sealer on the inorganic building materials on a factory line, and is excellent comprehensively in moisture permeability resistance, blocking resistance, color retention properties, adhesiveness to substrate, and frost resistance as properties specific to sealers. <P>SOLUTION: A sealer contains a resin emulsion and further contains a multifunctional monomer.
