A character inputting method in a digital image processor is provided to reduce the number of pushed key strokes by enabling a user to input wanted Korean characters via 9 function keys, thereby contributing to making a device small sized. A character inputting method in a digital image processor comprises the following several steps. The digital image processor receives a button input signal which is inputted according to a consonant writing sequence and generates a corresponding initial sound(38). The digital image processor receives a basic vowel component, receives another basic vowel component which determines a vowel with a directional signal and generates a corresponding middle sound, namely a vowel(41). The digital image processor receives a button input signal which is inputted according to a consonant writing sequence and generates a corresponding final sound. |
