PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to eliminate the need to install an extra valve by providing liquid detergent only by controlling the operation of a compressed air supply unit and an air absorption unit. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine(100) comprises a cabinet(110), a tub(120), a drum, a liquid detergent supply unit(130) and a compressed air supply unit. The liquid detergent supply unit supplies liquid detergent to the tub and comprises a receiving tank and a supply tube. The supply tube supplies the liquid detergent from the receiving tank to the tub. The compressed air supply unit supplies compressed air to the liquid detergent supply unit to operate it. |
